Falchion from Thorpe

Custom-made falchion. Blade is welded forge welding of 5 layers, at the edge of the output of high carbon steel that allows to temper the blade edge at greater hardness, its hold plates of medium carbon steel, the outer layer of spring steel blade that will deliver the desired elasticity.
The total length of 770 mm, 610 blade, leather 110mm
shirena blade 50mm at the bottom. Wooden handle covered with leather, tail saw off on pommel.
